Welcome to Pax Hill

A home that provides the highest level of care for elderly people, stunning accommodation with beautiful views, excellent facilities, and compassionate, caring, expertly-trained staff. Pax Hill Care Home offers all this and more.

Set in the picturesque village of Bentley, on the border between Surrey and Hampshire and the market towns of Farnham and Alton, Pax Hill has been providing care for elderly people since 1988.

Our two purpose-built care homes are set in nine acres of
beautiful gardens, in the grounds of the house that once belonged to Lord Baden-Powell, founder of the Scouting movement.

Our homes offer different levels of care in separate environments
to suit individual requirements, and importantly, we offer a continuity of care for changing conditions.

The village of Bentley is actually in Hampshire, although the postal address of Pax Hill is Surrey . Farnham is only 2 miles away and Alton less than 5. We are conveniently situated for easy access from the surrounding villages of Alresford, Four Marks, Crondall, Binstead, Well, South Warnborough and Selborne.

How to reach us...

Pax Hill Home Care is situated in the village of Bentley.
You can reach us :

By car – Pax Hill is mid-way between Farnham in Surrey and Alton in Hampshire, off the A31. We are situated at the Alton end of Bentley, which is the other end of the main road from the village shop and pub.

By train – Bentley Station is on a direct line from Waterloo. The trains run from Waterloo to Alton (which is the end of the line), via Woking, Ash, Aldershot and Farnham. Taxis are available from the station for the two-mile journey to Pax Hill.

By bus – the bus stop is at the end of Pax Hill's driveway. The X65 service runs regularly between Guildford and Alton.
